12. Upright Citizens Brigade
The Upright Citizens Brigade, or UCB, operates two legendary alternative comedy spaces out of Los Angeles and New York. UCB was founded in 1999 by Amy Poehler, Matt Besser, Ian Roberts, and Matt Walsh, and continues to be a major comedy institution offering classes and live shows. They specialize in improv, sketch comedy, and stand-up, but you never know what or whom you might encounter on any given day.
